Reception Team

​Paula -- Office Manager
​
Paula has been in veterinary medicine for over 30+ years. many of which spent with us here at MHVH! In her free time she enjoys her family, friends, and fur babies Gypsy Rose and Buffy. 
Ariel -- Receptionist

Ariel has been with MHVH since 2015 and enjoys all aspects of assisting clients and patients with their front desk needs. She spends all her free time enjoying East Tennessee with her boyfriend and her three fur babies, Cali, Todd, and Bailey. ​
​Kimber -- Receptionist

Kimber has been with MHVH since 2019 and is our prescription food guru! She is always going above and beyond for clients. In her free time she enjoys riding horses, loving on her pups Reese and Sabo, and cheering on the Bengals with her husband.

Animal Care Team

Whitney -- LVMTg

Whitney graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology in 2015. Whitney joined MHVH in 2017 and truly is the glue that holds us all together! There is very little she has not seen in vet med and is always happy to share her knowledge with others. Outside of the clinic she spends time with her family, friends, and many fur babies.
Brittany -- LVMT

​Brittany graduated from LMU with an Applied Science  degree in 2006 and passed her licensing shortly after. She has worked in multiple vet med settings, spending many years in emergency small animal care. Brittany has been at MHVH since the 2000s and currently brings her knowledge and skill to us part time while raising her sweet (and wild!) young boys, along with a menagerie of pets!
Nicki -- LVMT

Nicki earned her LVMT in 2019 from Penn Foster. Nicki joined us in November 2024 and we are very excited to welcome her! She has honed her knowledge and skills in both general practice and emergency medicine. Nicki devotes all her free time to her family.
Allison -- Vet Assistant

Allison started at MHVH in 2020 and quickly became pivotal during those unprecedented times! ​She continues to be a skillful and steady member of the team, and is currently working on becoming a Licensed Technician. In her free time she loves caring for her beloved pets (whether they have fur, scale, shell, or feathers!) with her husband and daughter.

Nicole -- Vet Assistant

Nicole joined the MHVH team in 2022 and has worked in several clinics, gaining invaluable knowledge. She prides herself on her client communication skills, and strives to make everyone feel welcome! Her time out of the clinic is spent with her family, her friends playing DnD and her fur children.

Liz -- Vet Assistant

Liz started at MHVH in 2022 and has truly blossomed! With a truly impressive work ethic, she strives to learn more and polish her skills every day. In her free time she can be adventuring all over the Southeast with her husband and rescue hound, Willow.

Bri -- Vet Assistant

Joining the team in 2024​, Bri has worked in several clinics and loves all aspects of working in veterinary medicine. Client communication and calm patient handling are her strong suits and there isn't a feline she won't boop! In her free time she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and cats, Kimchi and Soju.

Morgan -- Vet Assistant

Joining us in 2024 as well, Morgan came to us from working in a laboratory setting, so microscope work is her jam! Catch her assisting with cytology samples, looking at microscope slides, and interpreting blood smears. In her free time she enjoys exploring her new home of East Tennessee!
Cydney -- Kennel Attendant/Receptionist

Cydney started at MHVH in 2025 and we are very excited to have her here loving and caring for all of our boarded patients! Cydney aspires to be a veterinarian and we are happy to be an early step in her journey.  Cydney spends her free time with her pack: Buddy, Mike, Gunnar, Junior, and Smokey!
Brianna -- Kennel Attendant/Receptionist

Brianna joined MHVH in 2025 and has been cross training in our kennel area and our front desk. Brianna is excited for the opportunity to learn more about vet med from multiple aspects. 
Amberlynn -- Kennel Attendant/Receptionist

Amberlynn joined the team at MHVH in 2025 following a student shadowing program through GP high school. She has now graduated from GP and is starting at UT in the Fall with a plan to be a veterinarian. We are excited to be a part of journey!
Peter Parker -- Clinic Cat
A valued MHVH family member since 2018, Peter is usually sleeping in various spots, but occasionally can be found adventuring throughout the clinic. His favorite activity besides eating is doing office work (aka stepping on keyboards and causing them to malfunction).
